Always a force to be reckoned with in the AFC East Division, the Jets and Giants have proved their worth in the league. They are fiercely loved by their fans and even share the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Jet’s HQ though can be found in Florham Park.
When they first entered the AFL in 1960 though, they were the Titans. The Polo Grounds was the teams’ home stadium. Three years later, they moved to the Shea Stadium and changed their name to the Jets.
1968 proved to the Jets’ year. They reached the playoffs and made it to the Super Bowl – the 3rd in the history of American Football.
